Snapmuse.io is the most creator and community friendly funding solution on the market. With a RWA tokenization infrastructure and strong community mobilization capabilities, Snapmuse.io stands out from the competition.
Web 2.0 Competitors:
Spotter.com - A royalty catalogue that funds Youtubers by buying-off all of their content. (HWM Valuation: USD1.7 billion). Unlike Spotter Snapmuse.io is open to creators from ALL platform and Snapmuse.io doesn't require creators to sell the rights to their best content.
Kickstarter - A crowdfunding platform that offers non-monetary perks to the project backers. (HWM Valuation: N/A). While a strong model, Kickstarter doesn't allow funders to be part of the project in the same way Snapmuse.io can. Porjects on Snapmuse.io's are able to offer a unique sense of ownership and involvement thank to the platform's RWA infrastructure.
Patreon - an exclusive community and content platform for Creators. (HWM Valuation: USD4 billion). Patreon and similar platforms require creators to create additional content for their paying fans. Adding more content requirements on top of the creators' regular publishing schedules is one of the main reasons of creator burnout. Snapmuse.io is creator friendly and doesn't require creators to create additional content.
Web 3.0 Competitors:
No direct competitors in the Entertainment Ecosystem. Below are competitors in broader Creator's Economy.
Royal.io - An NFT marketplace designed for Music artists which allows them to mint song NFTs embedded with royalties (HWM Valuation: USD21 billion). Royal is only for musical artist. Quite similar to Spotter, Royal claims to purchase a certain percentage of DSP rights from musicians resulting in perpetual loss of partial ownershipi. Additionally the system relies on musicians estates' paying the platform the agreed percentage for perpetuity.
Opulous - An NFT marketplace designed for Music artists which allows them to mint song NFTs embedded with royalties (HWM Valuation: USD3.7 billion) Opulus comes with very similar challenges to Royal. Additionally neither platforms have a strong community aspect.
XCAD - An engage-to-earn platform for Youtuber fans. (HWM Valuation: USD1.8 billion). Xcad requires users to watch content to earn. While it's an interesting dynamic to create engagement, it is not even remotely a community endeavor. For example the platform will have users from Spain watch a creator from India, publishing in their native language. This is not about community. What's more is that Xcad is not a RWA platform.
Why is our solution better than others?
We donβt overburden the Creator by forcing them to create more content (Patreon). Neither we creators to sell-off their content completely (Jellysmack and Spotter). Furthermore, we enable collectors to earn monetary and non-monetary (Kickstarter) rewards for their contributions in growing the project. Finally, the collectors get the opportunity to showcase their involvement in the project via their NFTs. We take the fans from being mere consumers and donators (Patreon) to being core members of the creators universes'.
From a business standpoint, Snapmuse.io is a less capital intensive and therefore much scalable solution compared to Jellysmack and Spotter.com due to its P2P structure (Creator-Fan funding).
Compared to our web3.0 competitors, we target a much wider market - not only music or Youtube, but the entertainment industry as a whole.
